The Consumer Insights Specialist will help support our growing Consumer Insights function. The Insights Specialist will be charged with supporting initiatives that help broaden the visibility and impact of the insights function. These projects will inform meaningful and successful brand strategies, communication, and product development for our family of brands.  Primary Duties • Assist with research project design and questionnaire design, implement fieldwork (with suppliers), and (with input from manager) analyze data and develop reports/presentations • Handle logistics of qualitative research (monitoring recruitment, facilities management, stimuli development and production, videoconferencing coordination, etc.) • Assist with consumer panel management, study development and analyses. • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assist in the development of reports/presentations. • Conduct market analyses of categories, markets, consumers, and competitors and provide overviews that educate teams on knowledge gaps. • Synthesize multiple data sources to uncover insights and then create concise and compelling stories to bring those insights bring to life. • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies. • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Must be intellectually curious, passionate about consumers, and be interested in the footwear/fashion category. • Entry-level understanding of research methods (quantitative and qualitative) and the appropriate application of these methods. • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze consumer transactional, behavioral, attitudinal and demographic data and draw informed conclusions based on the results. • Ability to develop strong relationships with business partners and cross-functional team members. • Strong communication skills are essential, must also be proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Powerpoint, Excel, and Word. • Bachelor's or other degree in business, marketing, market research, statistics, finance, or social sciences required. • 1-2 years’ experience in consumer research preferred (client or vendor side). • If no direct experience working in market research, internship, coursework or related projects in market research required. • Experience with Footwear/Apparel or Consumer Packaged Goods also preferred The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills which may be required.
