Wolverine Worldwide’s continued success is driven by our ability to stay true to our simple mission: we empower, engage and inspire our consumers – every step of the way.   A Planning Optimization Analyst is responsible for analytical and optimization modeling that drive inventory and markdown improvements, while maintaining the day-to-day execution of the planning playbook to drive consistent and predictable performance. Documents and evolves processes and build KPIS and reporting to measure performance.  Develop new analytics that improve inventory flow and drive margin improvements. Maintains and evolves the planning playbook to drive day to day consistency and repeatability of the global planning process.   Primary Duties • Partner with brand demand planning leaders to drive analytical capabilities into the planning organization with ad-hoc or optimization opportunities. • Develop financial and operational inventory models to optimize the flow and management of inventory. • Develops cross channel and region inventory optimization analytics. • Models inventory optimization initiatives such as lead time reduction and assortment commonality. • Lead the day-to-day management of the global planning “playbook”, evolves tools and capabilities to keep Wolverine planning on the cutting edge of planning capabilities. • Documents and evolves processes and build KPIS and reporting to measure performance across brands and geographies. • Lead the planning tool master data management.
