The trail is the core of our design philosophy and has continued to guide us in the development of innovative products that inspire and enable enjoyment of the outdoors.   The Senior Web Designer works directly with the ecommerce team as well as partners with the brand marketing and product development teams. This person is a highly experienced designer with a keen eye for web design, photography, and imagery to bring together engaging consumer experiences. They are a motivated design leader and acts as a senior mentor to other designers in the organization. The position will design visually exciting consumer facing digital content that meets the direct-to-consumer business goals and objectives. Primary Duties • Subject Matter expert for all website, landing page, email, direct mail, and digital media design projects. • Follows brand standards and web style guides to ensure each brand maintains its unique visual identity. • Optimizes web graphics to ensure maximum download speed while maintaining high visual quality. • Partners with the front-end web development team to ensure digital projects are delivered in the best, most-efficient format and file structures. • Owns content management system and design templates to make creative updates. • Partner with brand marketing and product development to own the 3D product modeling and any product conceptualization as requested by those teams. • Responsible for building and recommending the optimal process to archive and store digital assets for later use. • Creates variations of design content for segmentation, A/B testing and global site optimization. • Provides design direction across internal teams; including content, merchandising, e-commerce and brand. • Manages and mentors’ junior designers within the organization. • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies. • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Bachelors degree in design or equivalent work experience.• Manage to balance many concurrent projects with ongoing tight deadlines• 7+ years of web/digital design experience.• Experience with website optimization techniques.• Solid expertise with Adobe Creative Suite applications• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).• Strong knowledge of front-end web development standards• Ability to work and meet deadlines in fast pace environment   WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office environment.
