We leave work each day knowing we’ve done everything to make runners’ lives just a little bit better.   The eCommerce Site Merchandiser is to maximize consumer experience and drive revenue growth on saucony.com by leading strategic ecommerce merchandising. Primary Duties • Develop a deep expertise of the Saucony brand, its consumers, and its products to present a compelling story online and maximize revenue and conversion. • Identify product assortment for ecommerce in the context of broader brand channel assortment strategy. • Build seasonal inventory plans and manage in-season to maximize site in-stock, conversion, and revenue while realizing healthy turnover and minimizing end-of-season liquidation. • Manage liquidation lifecycle and associated markdown cadence. • Determine and execute site taxonomy and style categorization to facilitate product browsing and conversion. • Recommend and execute seasonal merchandising plans to create a compelling consumer experience and to effectively present product stories in an integrated manner across ecommerce all touch points (site, email, etc.). • Recommend and execute seasonal promotional plans to maximize revenue and achieve gross margin targets. • Use reporting and web analytics tools such as BW Reporting and Omniture to analyze site experience and product presentation performance and optimize accordingly. • Drive A/B testing to optimize conversion performance. • Research the marketplace and competitive set for trends and new ideas related to the online consumer shopping experience and site presentation. • Partner with ecommerce marketing to support SEO initiatives. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Merchandising, or Mathematics background. • 3+ years of online merchandising experience, preferably in a direct-to-consumer environment, including experience with both buying and planning as well as site merchandising. • Experience with web technology platforms/working with a content management system to update pages • Exceptional quantitative/analytical skills necessary. • Exceptional coordination and communication skills. • Ability and desire to work at both the strategic and tactical levels • Strong understanding and passion for websites, UI and Visual Site Merchandising • General product knowledge of footwear & apparel a plus • Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word – advanced Excel skills preferred.   WORKING CONDITIONSNormal office environment.   Committed to a diverse workforce, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer (Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled).
