• Demand Planner II Job Locations US-MI-Rockford Brand/Group Chaco Job Function Planning - Brand Min. The brand has achieved several consecutive years of industry-leading growth by creating remarkable connections with a tribe of loyal consumers known as ChacoNation.   The Demanda Planner II will assist in demand planning functions, analyze, purchase and forecast inventory.  Maintain and update reports and systems to reflect current information including all aspects of assigned brand(s). Primary Duties   • Assists with the identification and purchase of product based on history, trend, sales demand and customer contracts (sourced and domestic). • Assists and issues purchase orders for product to ensure adequate inventory and delivery.  Verifies orders are entered accurately and maintain DIFOT. • Calculate production demand at size level for all channels of distribution. • Maintains delivery information on all open purchase orders from issuance to receipt. • Assists Manager with the Material Master information in SAP, creates and maintains set up functions for all materials including UPCs, sales grids, pricing, etc. • Provide stock availability, future receipts and closeout material information to customer service and sales force. • Assists with the pricing and carryovers to sourcing to update SAP/GLL. • Utilize inventory analysis to determine pattern counts and recommendations, projecting sales and season ending stock levels, year to year comparisons and historical trend patterns. • Works with Demand Planning Manager to develop annual business plan. • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies. • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required   • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • 2-4 years planning/merchandising experience. • Strong analytical/problem solving skills. • Advanced computer proficiency. • Excellent oral and communication skills. • Ability to multi task.
