The Web Designer will design ongoing consumer facing web content that meets individual brand goals and objectives as outlined in briefs. Utilize style guides, templates, processes and direction given by Web Art Director to ensure weekly deadlines are met.

Primary Duties ! Design online content including numerous weekly emails, banners and website marketing that meets the goals and objectives of written and verbal briefs.
! Follow brand standards and web style guides to ensure each brand maintains its unique visual identity.
! Optimize web graphics to ensure maximum download speed while maintaining high visual quality.
! Translate designs into html/css content that meets W3C standards.
! Work within Content Management System and design templates to make creative updates.
! Balance numerous projects to meet ongoing tight deadlines.
! Maintain organized archive of ongoing design projects for later reference.
! Create variations of content for segmentation, A/B testing and global use.
! Coordinate design direction with e-mail steering team; including content, merchandising and e-commerce marketing.
! Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
! Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required ! Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
! Functional understanding of W3C standards.
! Experience with web graphic optimization techniques.
! Adobe Photoshop.
! Familiarity with and ability to design for content management systems (CMS).
! 1+ years of web/digital design experience.
! Ability to work and meet deadlines in fast pace environment.
! Bachelors degree in design or equivalent work experience.
! Mobile/Tablet design experience a plus.
! eCommerce specific experience a plus. 
WORKING CONDITIONSNormal office enviornnment. Some travel required.
