About the job
Oversee group-level Marketing product data standards and governance for a Digital Asset Management system implementation including the structure of brands, categorization, product groups, market release dates, features, attributes, usage, and related products.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Document and streamline marketing process and data governance.
• Consolidate data sources
• Responsible for tactical image and data entry into new DAM system
• Oversee that Marketing product data is housed properly in systems and administer product entity in Digital Asset Management system
• Liaison between New Product Development and Marketing for product lifecycle management related to Marketing product data structure. Streamline procedures for collecting marketing data during new product introductions, phase-outs, and discontinued and re-instated products.
• Collaborate with copywriters to standardize Marketing product data values.
• Represent Marketing regarding tactical data information management of DAM related projects including Marketing asset migration, validation, reporting, and enhancements.
• Ensure website product section accuracy.
• Assist with testing during integrations for marketing deliverables including websites, e-commerce, and product selectors.
• Audit deliverables to ensure product data consistency for internal and external customers; aid in fulfilling enriched product data requests.
• Facilitate processes related to automated creation of key deliverables (such as Product Reference Manuals, New Product Sheets, Product Spec Sheets, websites, apps).
• Documentation of process for ongoing maintenance
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with product lifecycle through configuration management, product management, or new product development.
• Working knowledge of DAM systems.
• Microsoft Excel expertise.
• Excellent data analysis skills with a focus on root cause and problem solving.
• Inquisitive versus assumptive nature.
• High quality standards with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Time management skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple and often competing projects, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Highly motivated and results oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Basic understanding of Web Content Management, Search Engine Optimization, and marketing automation preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for effectiveness at all levels.
• Collaboration skills with a strong desire to bring best practices to the team through shared knowledge and expertise.
• Flexible and positive disposition to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
• 10% potential travel.
