RESPONSIBILITIES //
• In charge of overall merchandising of the store based on appearance, sell through, inventory levels, dedicated areas, season and price
• Has a strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of the company and customers
• Maintains an organized, visually appealing and welcoming store environment
• Creates displays that are reflective of the company standards and aesthetic
• Demonstrates creative skills in different designs of merchandise display which will create store profits
• Possesses strong assessment and decision-making skills
• Works independently and with manager to create a strategy for the day/week for projects
• Has the ability to manage time effectively with multiple projects daily while also helping surrounding customers
• Takes responsibility for own development and professional growth, identifies and trains potential future merchandisers
• Helps shipment manager process new shipment and prioritizes the order in which it is completed
• Communicates with the rest of the sales team regarding new product (new brands, product knowledge, etc.)
• Communicates with buyers as to what’s trending and what can be changed or added to increase sales
• Maintains amount of fixtures in order to keep an efficient level of inventory and that they are organized
• Aware of competitors merchandising, product prices, etc.
