Job Title: Global Marketing Manager – Workwear
Reports To: Business Unit Director - Fieldwear
Location: Ventura, CA

General Summary
The Global Marketing Manager– Workwear is responsible for the creation and successful execution of seasonal strategic plans that align with the strategic direction set by the Business Unit Director. They will develop and manage seasonal category marketing plans and elevate product education in order to amplify product initiatives, from end-use clarity to supply chain awareness, and improve the customer experience. They are responsible for being close to the market and acting nimbly in order to be timely, relevant, and impactful. The Global Marketing Manager- Workwear will be responsible for building progressive strategies that target customers with meaningful content and experiences to drive our Workwear category. This position will work directly with and report into the Business Unit Director.

Essential Job FunctionsCollaborate with Business Unit Director to develop and maintain seasonal strategic category engagement plans that align and enhance the initiatives for the business unit.
Partner closely with relevant Product Line Managers to ensure that product marketing initiatives reflect Fieldwear business unit objectives, and is consistent with brand values and initiatives.
Manage execution of marketing plans on-time and within budget, including media planning, product seeding, PR initiatives, promotions and events through strong communications and process with centralized Marketing and Creative Services teams and global marketing partners.
Drive global sell-in and sell-through asset creation for all seasonal product stories for Workwear through Product Creative Briefs and reviews, Global Marketing and Sales Meetings, and grassroots events.
Manage a content creation and distribution strategy that accurately reflects the brand position and targets customers and core-users through film, photo, catalog, The Cleanest Line, pat.com category pages, and social media, for the ultimate purpose of inspiring and empowering collective action on environmental, social and ethical issues.
Create and manage a category product seeding plan, as well as developing fixturing/merchandising solutions for owned retail, and measure ROI performance.
Responsible for collaborating with other Category Marketing Managers to support seasonal initiatives with Workwear, and utilizing key influencers in our fight to save the planet.

Physical RequirementsMust be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
Ability to maintain a composed and professional demeanor within a flexible and (at times noisy) work environment.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally utilizing various transportation methods.

Minimum Job QualificationsB.A./B.S. in Business, Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
5+ years experience in marketing/creative direction.
Apparel / Outdoor / Sporting Goods / Consumer Goods / Global / Multi-Channel experience preferred.
Thorough knowledge of the sports this category is defined by and the environmental issues that concern the community.
Strong writing, communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.
Ability to be flexible within the job to ensure the best processes/systems for smooth completion of all projects.
Capable of streamlining and improving processes, and troubleshooting.
Ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility.
Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
