This is a part-time, seasonal role.
The Pre-Production Team is a critical group within the Product Development Department that works to ensure that every product meets Patagonia’s Quality Standards. As the Development Support, you would be responsible for supporting the Pre-Production Team with updating Specifications, Measurement Charts, BOMs and measuring product.
What You’ll Do
Ensure company standards for quality, function and reducing environmental impacts are met.
Establish strong collaborative relationships with Product Development Team.
Ensures final specs, measurement chart and BOMs are Production Ready.
Support the team during Size Set Fittings.
Support the Pre-Production Team with updates to department manuals and documentation.
Support Pre-Production Team with Posting BOMs to document portal.

Experience You Bring
1-3 years’ experience in garment manufacturing/product development
Strong knowledge of apparel construction is required
Some knowledge of garment fit is helpful.
Excellent skills in creating construction specifications in Illustrator.
Good understanding of the development process.
Ability to be a technical resource to others.
Ability to work well with certain computer software programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, PLM, Excel.
