Traditionally, the apparel industry globally has been driven by fast fashion, which does not take the environmental and social impacts of garment manufacturing into account, and Patagonia Sportswear seeks to disrupt and challenge this model. At Patagonia, the Sportswear business unit exists to pioneer and scale environmental and social responsibility, and in recent years has introduced new initiatives including recycled nylon, recycled down, natural dyes and Fair Trade. In the Marketing - Sportswear role, you will partner with the Global Marketing Mananger and be responsible for scaling  Sportswear’s digital presence, developing, executing and reporting on full-funnel, seasonal marketing campaigns, and supporting the Kid’s marketing plan.

What You’ll Do

Digital-Lead Marketing
Develop and execute full-funnel digital campaigns that support Patagonia Sportswear’s marketing and merchandising strategies with the goal of driving customer acquisition, loyalty, engagement and achieving sales goals.
Plan and execute CRM strategies that improve customer engagement, purchase and retention
Grow Sportswear’s community engagement program through social and digital-focused activations and programs
Partner with the Global Marketing Manager- Sportswear, Channel Marketers (Retail, Social, E-comm), Marketing Operations and creative teams to drive marketing strategy from preseason planning to in-season execution
Effectively write and kick-off marketing briefs with consideration for user experience, merchandising and brand marketing priorities
Carry out regular marketing analyses and hindsights of digital channels and campaigns by pulling data from analytics tool, analyzing metrics and trends, making recommendations based on the data, and sharing with all levels of the organization.
Identify opportunities for marketing A/B tests and partner with cross-functional teams to implement into new or existing campaigns

Kid’s Marketing
Work with the Global Marketing Manager- Sportswear to develop a strategy that will support the Kid’s category growth over time via all channels.
Develop relationships with regional counterparts to understand their needs and drive overall support and implementation from a global perspective (research, strategy, growth opportunities, development and implementation of seasonal tools).
Identify and position key seasonal stories
Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget against a clearly defined brief (written by the Global Marketing Manager- Sportswear) with pre-agreed KPIs.

Sportswear Support
Support brand goals and SER storytelling
Support the Global Marketing Manager- Sportswear with ideation and execution of special projects
Assist with overall content calendar for the Sportswear marketing team

Experience You Bring
Minimum 5+ years of global marketing experience including responsibility for campaign strategy and development
Apparel / Outdoor / Global / Multi-Channel experience preferred
Experience with industry sustianable, global environmental, and social best practices preferred
Strong writing, communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing
Ability to be flexible within the job to ensure the best processes/systems for smooth completion of all projects
Capable of streamlining and improving processes, and troubleshooting
