Role: Digital Strategist - Technical
Team: Technical Business Unit

The Digital Strategist will be responsible for developing and overseeing the digital execution across each region, applying their deep understanding of the digital world and leveraging their authentic connection to the sport community to create a best-in-class digital experience. You will be hyper-focused on opportunities that will allow the outdoor community to engage with our products, sport and activist network in an elevated and seamless way from acquisition to engagement to transaction.

What You’ll Do
Build and own the digital strategy with input from internal and external partners that focuses on the ability to attract and retain adventure sport customers across all parts of the marketing funnel, from prospecting through to conversion and across all priority markets
Work collaboratively with Global Sales Lead - Technical and the Direct-to-Consumer CRM team to translate sales forecasts to a robust digital strategy, working on owned platform or multi-brand e-commerce environments
Work with internal and external stakeholders across the regions to ensure a holistic approach that considers touch-points across paid and owned channels, eCommerce wholesale partners and online community centers in alignment with business objectives
Curate customer segments that are meaningful for the BU with input from the CRM team and Category Marketers for the purpose of growing the outdoor community in an authentic way that ladders up to the brand mission
Own the creation and development of the paid digital media plan and adhere to budgets and financial expectations
Brief in customer-centric asset requests with the purpose of segmenting and targeting our marketing creative for improved performance
Create a test-and-learn culture of failing fast and learning quickly in order to drive results
Enhance the consumer journey through all digital channels & localize the experience where applicable providing customers with relevant, interesting and timely material
Develop key performance indicators to accurately measure each digital strategy to ensure performance is met on an ongoing basis and or course correct when necessary with internal and external partners
Synthesis and report key learnings to the VP of Technical and Core Leadership on an ongoing basis and after each campaign and milestone
In-season management of digital levers according to sales needs for the BU
Own relationships with key business stakeholders to understand and anticipate current and future business needs
Stay abreast of and apply industry and technology trends as well as emerging tools and techniques relevant to discipline
Work closely with Key Partners; Marketing Director, eCommerce Team, Customer Insights, Digital Creative Directors

Experience You Bring
College degree
Minimum 5 years of global marketing experience including responsibility for digital strategy and technical execution
Apparel / Outdoor / Global / Multi-Channel experience, preferred
Experience with industry sustainable, global environmental, and social best practices preferred
Strong writing, communication and negotiation skill
