This position is the primary graphic designer on a creative team that supports Trail and Baselayer category workflow. This creative team consists of a Sr. Designer, Managing Copy Editor, Photo Editor and Marketing Operations manager. You’ll collaborate closely with the Trail and Baselayer Category Marketers to refine marketing concepts and works under the direction of the Category Creative Director to develop all creative from concept through production. You’re both a high level creative conceptual thinker and a hands-on maker. As the Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll work with the Category Creative Director to define and maintain the global Patagonia brand, visual identity and create communications and experiences that help save our home planet.

What You’ll Do
Conceptualization of seasonal Trail & Baselayer ‘Go-To-Market’ product campaigns
Best in class design execution of agreed-upon creative direction
In-studio product photography art direction
Development of creative solutions that propel the Patagonia brand forward
Partners with Retail, E-commerce and Social Media teams to ensure that all campaigns are consistently executed across all communication and sales channels
Timely execution of all creative assets
Accesses external talent for creative development and execution as necessary
Able to think/design across media and activate the brand globally
Takes a leadership role in establishing and maintaining a global visual identity for the assigned categories in all regions

Experience You Bring
College degree required
7+ years’ experience in graphic design
Superior typographic knowledge and ability to apply the techniques
Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to develop creative and activate marketing stories across various media
