Job Description

Role: Digital Solution Strategist Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Location: (Ventura, CA)


The Digital Solution Strategist will utilize the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) portal, to create personalized customer experiences across Patagonia websites. This individual will leverage all features of the SFCC Business Manager portal in support of and in collaboration with Patagonias marketing, merchandising and optimization teams. As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud subject matter expert, this role will coordinate with cross functional teams throughout the entire project life-cycle, from inception to production launch and post-launch testing and assessment based on business requirements.

What Youll Do:Fully understand the digital channels business objectives (i.e. increasing sales for key products, etc.) and translate these into strategy and action plans.
Leverage SFCC analytics to ensure the delivery of optimal search results
Optimize product sequencing for an enhanced customer experience
Manage the creation of curated promotional codes
Scheduling, management and testing of timed campaigns and affected content slots
Monitor and report on SFCC product releases for new functionality that can be leveraged for Patagonia.com
Management of SFCC user permissions
Management of SFCC shipping tables
Mentoring other team members on SFCC Business Manager functionality
Help define business solution architecture from idea to implementation ensuring that solution supports the business objectives
Work with other technical leads, project managers and architects to design and implement high availability, high performance solutions in support of the companys strategic goals
Document customer, business, functional/development requirements and use cases, as well as create A/B and multivariate testing plans as they relate to feature and project roll-out
Create and manage SFCC customer groups

Experience You Bring:College Degree or equivalent experience preferred
2+ years experience working the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform with expert level of proficiency within Business Manager
3+ years professional experience and or exposure to e-commerce, web application development and systems integration.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
General knowledge and understanding of web systems, technology infrastructure and Retail
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with ability to use data and analytics to understand and improve performance.
Expert level proficiency with SFCC Business Manager Portal
Solid understanding of relevant KPIs for this role along with the tools needed to measure and analyze campaign performance.
Maintaining a flexible work schedule and be on-call during evenings and weekends, as needed.
Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
Strong ecommerce knowledge.
Experience with A/B and multi-variate testing.
Experience with Product Recommendations setup and iterative testing
Experience with Search configuration and performance review
