Schedule: Monday Friday, generally 06:30 -15:00 and 07:30-16:00

General Summary
The Day ShiftMerchandise Processorwill handle all responsibilities associated with the processes tied to thepicking, packing, andshipping of ordersand applying Value Added Services to certain ordersatthePatagonia Reno Service Center, White Fir Street and Verdi locations.As a member of this team you will be encouraged to volunteer with local non-profits and to get outdoors to participate in our core sports.

What Youll Do
Picking:the picking of merchandise for the four divisions of Patagonia; Mail Order, Retail, Wholesale and International. Matching pick label information with item hang tag info. Making sure pick items are placed on conveyor belts at appropriate times.

Induction:placing picked merchandise onto the tilt tray sorter to be delivered and sorted to one of the pack stations. Ongoing and consistent communication with the picking and packing departments on the progress of wave induction.

Packing:the packing of outbound orders for each division of Patagonia. Packing product for each customer requires attention to detail, accuracy and critical thinking to make sure each carton is packed to the customers/dealers requirements. Other responsibilities include changing shipping methods when necessary, gift bagging for Mail Order customers, tagging and/or de-tagging of merchandise as well as general housekeeping and stocking.

Error Table:Resolving problem orders in packing. Working in conjunction with the Packing Supervisor and Inventory Control to resolve any problem orders in a timely manner.

Shipping:the shipping of outbound orders. This includes but is not limited to palletizing, wrapping, staging, and/or loading orders into appropriate shipping areas/trailers. Additional responsibilities include shipping miscellaneous packages (e.g. returns) and the delivery of store pickup orders. The Shipper(s) will also be responsible for ensuring that all orders packed that day, are also shipped. Other responsibilities include the loading of all outbound carriers and trailers, as well as general housekeeping.

Value Added Service (VAS):Hanging and stickering various products for dealers that require these services.

Verdi Outbound:The packing and shipping of larger orders for selected wholesale accounts. Value Added Services such as placing product on hangers and adding crown sizers may be part of the job.

Experience You Bring
Proven experience working with groups across difference in respectful and equitable way.

Previous warehouse experience is helpful, but not required

Experience working in Word and Excel strongly preferred.

Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and non-verbal


Physical Requirements
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 70lbs, at times above shoulder height.

Ability to consistently stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Bending, lifting, climbing, walking and standing for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to perform routine tasks for extended periods of time.

Must be able to keenly discern colors.

Must follow all warehouse safety requirements.


Hours
Must be willing to work other days of the week if necessary overtime will be necessary on occasion.

Must be willing to work flexible hours as seasonal volume may affect the number of hours (higher/lower) necessary to complete the workload for the day.

Shift hours will vary based on the needs of the department. You will be asked to come in a half hour early or halfhour late on occasion.


Contract
