Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and supporting the sales team. Sales Assistant will be responsible for running weekly/monthly/yearly analytical and custom sales and licensing reports, assist with the development of sales forecasting plans, creating sales forms and workbooks, coordinates all marketing and in-store merchandising materials for the sales team, assist with the design of promotional campaigns/programs for inventory management, coordinate and participate in sales meetings and trade shows. The sales assistant must have experience in the brand apparel industry including knowledge of inventory management, as well as the sales life cycle from line planning through shipped production. Two years previous work experience in branded apparel sales or customer service.

Sale Assistant Job Duties
• New orders
* Work with all teams to ensure order details are passed to imports in a timely manner.
* Art files.
*Tech packs, patterns, fit samples.
* Standards and specifications.
• Cost requests
* Compile all details and review with artist/designer to ensure all is accurate and complete.
*Printing techniques
*Fabrications
*Costs
*Deliveries
*Follow up with costing department and ensure margins are being met.
*Ensure a new cost approval number is assigned to any new programs and manage expiring approvals

• Order processing (Domestic/Import)
o Complete new order forms and process through ‘neworder’/Imports team.
o Ensure all information is consistent with customer’s buy sheets, CAD’s, and WebTech.
o Ensure all graphics are concept approved and cleared for production.
o Submit sample requests via WebTech.
o Ensure product matches what was sold, but approving strike offs both import and domestic.

• Customer specific
*Target
* Fill out ICT forms and submit to appropriate Target team.
*Uploaded images to Pipeline or send physical samples

• Open order administration
o Work with customer service teams to help ensure all orders are on schedule.
o Communicate/handle required order adjustments due to outside delays, deal with follow-ups.
o Prepare and send any ongoing items requiring customer approvals.

• Sampling
o Enter separation/sample requests in WebTech.
o Track sample ETA’s and ensure approvals are within the allotted lead-times required for deliveries.
o Send samples for customer approval as needed with appropriate customer forms if applicable.
o License product
??Work with licensing department to send out strike offs/PP’s to licensor.
??Monitor WebTech updates. Follow up with licensing team on approvals, art, and PP, if required.
o Communicate approvals to production teams.
o Organize and maintain reference samples.
o Organize and manage TOP samples.

• Project Management
o Support sales in managing presentation timelines and project requests.
o Works closely with merchandiser to facilitate all design needs.
o Responsible for printing and organizing meeting needs.

• Miscellaneous
o Support creative team on Target projects
o Expense reports for VP of Sales.
o Occasional food pick up for company/customer/employee events.
o Various supportive tasks for Whitney Martin
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• AA or BA preferred
• Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Be self-motivated, confident, and energetic
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have full-time availability, Monday through Friday
