OluKai is in search of an Ecommerce Director to join the team in Irvine, CA or San Francisco, CA.

OluKai is looking for an Ecommerce Director for its Marketing Department located in Irvine, CA. The position will lead all Ecommerce business for OluKai and all affiliate brands including Kaenon.com and melinbrand.com.

RESPONSIBILITIES // include but are not limited to:
• As the Ecommerce Director, you will be responsible for driving ecommerce and online marketing for OluKai and our affiliate brand as well as successfully managing an internal staff and best-of-class 3rd party vendors.

• Full ecommerce P&L responsibilities including revenue plan, gross profit and net income target responsibilities that align with company objectives. Manage expense budgets to maintain efficient investments in marketing tactics.

• Set key performance indicators for business performance, website performance as well as audience growth across all brands. Oversee scoreboard and reporting on KPI metrics to create and present performance reports, outlining revenue, consumer audience and website analytics for internal management teams. Make performance based decisions and recommendations to further improve ecommerce business.

• Oversee website performance improvement process with a mobile first approach. Identify technology updates that continue to optimize performance. Manage conversion rate optimization efforts. Maintain KPIs for website performance such as site speed and cart abandonment.

• Manage CRM efforts to maximize the lifetime value of existing customers as well as continue to acquire new customers. Create and manage customer cohorts and manage the direct marketing events for each, including implementation of personalization techniques.


• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Planning teams to identify seasonal campaign pushes. Collaborate with Planning team to manage inventory allocation per season according to revenue forecasting and seasonal campaigns.

• Direct daily website merchandising, conversion rate optimization and traffic drivers such as SEO.

• Maintain online content calendar. Implement strategic content updates to branded website pages, maintain seasonal product merchandising, journal entries and general company information. Ensure website messaging is aligned with social media channels.

• Create and implement campaigns to grow our online audience, website traffic and social media followers.

• Create and deploy channel based direct to consumer marketing tactics including but not limited to search/SEO, email, social media, and online advertising to support seasonal campaigns.

• Facilitate content creation and deployment through brand ambassadors, writers, photographers and other content sources.

• Be the interface between offline and online asset management to ensure accurate file management and usage is current with intellectual property licenses.

• Conduct ongoing 360-degree audits of the direct to consumer experience, ensuring a real-time feedback with consumers as well as improving every touch point from website through purchase through delivery is excellent.

• Research and implement new technologies and applications that provides the best online consumer experience. Implement online tools such as catalogs, newsletters or companywide communication.

• Work with brand marketing, PR, other departments with consumer marketing initiatives and product launches to ensure cross platform alignment.
