OluKai is looking for a Marketing Director for its Marketing Department located in Irvine, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY //
Develop and execute brand and marketing strategies, programs and tactics that build brand equity and maximize market opportunities that drive the financial goals of the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Develop and execute brand and marketing strategies, programs and tactics that leverage the authentic brand story, premium product position to create consumer demand.
• Drive the creation of the seasonal marketing plans, bringing together creative and marketing teams to align objectives and manage the execution across function.
• Create and execute seasonal campaigns, media partnerships and visual merchandising programs to succinctly communicate the brand message. Report on key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Creative team on execution of photoshoots, video production and other branded content creation. Ensure brand content is deployed strategically throughout the marketing mix. Report on key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Ecommerce Director to ensure digital campaigns and website content are aligned with overall brand direction.
• Collaborate with Ecommerce Director to execute seasonal direct mail catalogs. Report on key performance metrics.
• Manage seasonal consumer events, sponsorships and promotions initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales team and Product team to drive seasonal go to market initiatives and product launches.
• Create and present quarterly reports on progress of key initiatives citing performance metrics.
• Conduct market analysis and research to support consumer insights initiatives.
• Maintain marketing calendar and department performance scoreboard
• Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
• Manage and mentor employees, foster personal and professional growth.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS //
• Bachelor’s degree required - BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or other related discipline a plus.
• This position requires solid experience as a Marketing & Brand leader 6-10 years of related professional experience preferably in footwear or apparel with retail experience. A passion for authentic branding and lifestyle marketing is a must.
• Must be quantitative minded and possess advanced level of computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Thorough knowledge of general marketing principles, branding, product launch planning and marketing collateral development. Must have a working knowledge of market research fundamentals and processes.
• Able to organize multiple tasks and manage projects through to completion on schedule and on budget. Strong organizational skills expected as well as project planning abilities, timeline management & interpersonal skills. Able to work professionally with flexibility in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess strong presentation skills. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Ability to report on analytics.
• Ability to travel throughout the US and International locations, some weekend travel and evening meetings.
• Demonstrate a passion for product and brand building.
