About the job
OluKai is hiring a Help Desk/Systems Administrator position for the Information Technology department in Irvine, CA. This person will function as the lead technical resource for administering multiple enterprise systems. This person will also function as the lead technical resource for the Service Desk. This position will report to the Senior I.T. Manager in Irvine, CA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and applications on enterprise business systems
• Must be proficient in supporting Mac systems in a Windows domain environment
• Hardware support Install, maintain, and troubleshoot end user hardware
• Software support: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot end user software
• Provide technical support for systems, workstations, peripherals, and business technologies
• Security – Audit permissions of system folders, software to preserve confidentiality. Verify any requested security updates with managers. Assist with building security and alarm system, employee setup and training
• Backup/Recovery Procedures: Knowledge and understanding of backup and restore processes, along with monitoring of scheduled backup jobs
• Telecommunications and remote office support: Provide support to remote offices, retail stores and employees to include but not limited to software, hardware, all IT related issues, phone system and peripheral equipment
• Coaching: Provide coaching to local and remote employees
• Training: Provide training and orientation for new team members
• Documentation: Asset Tracking and SOPs. Create and maintain process procedures and related documentation as necessary
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
• Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
• Adheres to local, state and federal laws
• Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department
• Must be able to travel to business location within the United States to setup retail stores
• Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary
• Interacts with all levels throughout organization, including internal and remote employees, and outside vendors
