Position Overview
We have an immediate opportunity for a Production Artist with at least 2 years of production art experience.?The Production Artist works directly with the Design Team and Design Director to process electronic files into screen printable layers for skis and snowboards. The production Artist will also work with the Designers and Design Director to produce factories files for the production of ski boots, snowboard boots, helmets, ski poles and other miscellaneous products. The Production Artist is involved with the management of ink formulas, print drawings and file revisions. Must be organized and able to identify potential screen printing issues.
Responsibilities
Creates and designs product graphics for various Elevate Outdoor Collective groups.
Creates and designs graphics for layout of marketing collateral, merchandising, and packaging.
Operates various graphic design programs.
Confers with marketing and sales teams regarding project specifications and creative direction.
Writes bid specifications for jobs assigned to outside vendors; coordinates production of material with outside vendors by monitoring jobs in progress, resolving technical problems, proofing materials and ensuring deadlines are met.
Manages studio and action photography of athletes and product.
Creates, designs, and/or manages the production of technical drawings and illustrations.
Designs, constructs, and or manages the production of visual displays, POP and exhibits; may determine materials and equipment best suited for the job.
Maintains department files of completed assignments; maintains accurate logs of work in progress such as time devoted to projects and materials used.
