About the job
The Technical Project Manager will oversee the execution of all website development projects among our brands. They will manage project requirements, scope and timelines, all while providing direction and guidance to all members of a given project to ensure it is delivered on time. This positions core responsibility is to ensure the proper operations of our websites and annual refresh.
This position will work closely with the Director of Ecommerce to deploy a range of web projects (both long and short term, as well as urgent updates). They will report to the Director of Ecommerce, who will be assisting with developing timelines and handing off projects to the Technical Project Manager. This position will manage the lifecycle of each project given: everything from discovery, scheduling tasks in Monday, supporting the developers as they execute, final QA’ing, and communicating progress to all involved. Throughout the project, this position will be expected to track all project action items and issues and document as necessary, making decisions on priorities and feasibility. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for projects launching on time, while balancing client wishes with the capabilities and best practices of the web.
The Technical Project Manager is someone who enjoys thinking with both sides of their brain – coming up with creative solutions to serving our clients’ needs but at the same time keeping an analytical and organized eye on all details of a project (time, scope, usability, scalability) to make sure that nothing is missed.
