Tactics is a leading, independently owned e-commerce retailer of curated skateboarding and snowboarding gear, clothing, and lifestyle-related products. We’re dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our customers and having a good time while we’re at it.

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to assist on the production of varying print and digital collateral. The Junior Graphic Designer will assist all facets of branding including digital art creation, web banner updates, and various print projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in both print and digital mediums as this job will require both. This is a full-time, in-house position consisting of a 40 hour work week from our downtown Eugene office. Candidate should be passionate about the action sports space and look forward to working in a collaborative, team oriented environment while utilizing excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Develop various website, email, social, and print graphics from start to finish under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Graphic Designer.
• Ensure that deliverables adhere to creative guidelines and brand standards. Employ graphic and interactive design best practices.
• Assist the Marketing team with requested creative as needed.
• Work within our content management system when needed to upload and make edits to various digital assets.
Job Requirements
• Formal design education, training or experience required.
• Knowledge of principles of design, including: layout, typography, branding, composition and current design trends.
• Digital photography
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Must be able to conceptualize, design and organize design projects as well as take direction.
• Ability to learn from and handle critiques.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver work on time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team as needed.
• HTML, CSS and responsive design experience is a nice bonus but not required.
