About the job
Rooted in the Pacific Northwest and founded in 1999, Tactics is an independent skate/snow specialty retailer operating online at Tactics.com and with stores in Bend, Eugene, and Portland, Oregon.
Based in our Eugene office, the Marketing specialist will be responsible for a variety of marketing projects to support digital, traditional media and event priorities. You will execute marketing plans to generate Tactics brand awareness, engagement and affinity.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and passionate about skate and snowboarding, has experience in social media marketing, content marketing, and event marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure content development and deployment across a variety of marketing channels including: social, web, blog, events, advertising, etc.
• Develop and maintain content calendar for social media, execute “real-time” content to compliment pre-planned content.
• Generate connections with consumers through dialogue while developing potential influencer relationships and partnerships.
• Support and coordinate all video projects for on-site, social media and digital platforms (such as: Instagram, YouTube) with an understanding of e-commerce content marketing.
• Develop events and activation plans to ensure Tactics has resources and partnerships secured, including social media presence when applicable.
• Travel as needed with skate/snow and marketing teams.
• Manage the Tactics YouTube account, write titles, descriptions and tags for uploaded edited video

• Have a pulse on skate/snow industry trends.
• Well organized, detailed oriented and demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects.
• Have a desire to learn and an ability to collaborate with team members to meet goals.
• Able to multi-task under time constraints, meet deadlines and work within a fast paced environment.
• Execute strategy and monitor results, making campaign recommendations based on results and current trends.
• Stoked to drive community engagement online and instore.
