Tactics is a leading online retailer of skateboard and snowboard gear and apparel with three retail stores located in Oregon: Eugene, Bend, and Portland. We’re looking for an Email Marketing Coordinator to execute various campaigns and marketing communication strategies to help us connect with current customers and to reach prospective new customers. As the Email Marketing Coordinator, you will implement the marketing strategy to achieve brand goals and drive traffic online and in store.

The Email Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for daily execution of email campaigns, reporting and analysis, and leveraging learnings to shape our business strategies. A well-qualified candidate will be an energetic individual with two or more years of hands-on experience managing promotional and automated email campaigns that align with digital marketing objectives. This position reports to Tactics’ Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

⏵ Drive the execution of promotional and automated marketing strategies to engage customers along the customer journey.

⏵ Maintain email marketing calendar to ensure accurate and timely delivery

⏵ Collaborate with category marketing managers to set topical priorities

⏵ Own all aspects of email production: Creation, scheduling, and approval

⏵ Ensure quality execution of creative, copy, and links and tracking

⏵ Manage segmentation and audience building, and maintain customer file health

⏵ Deliver ad hoc, weekly and monthly KPI reporting

⏵ Propose and implement A/b testing to optimizing campaigns toward channel goals

⏵ Manage email automation, including Welcome Series, Replenishment, Abandonment, and Post-Purchase campaigns

⏵ Lead monthly review of automated campaigns to ensure continued relevancy; identify areas for optimization and execute these changes.

⏵ Maintain awareness of email marketing trends, best practices, technologies
• 2+ years’ experience in email marketing (in an ecommerce environment)
• Hands on experience using ESP (Bluecore preferred), Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate proficiency with HTML and CSS
• Experience with audience segmentation and targeting
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce or related field
• Strong analytical skills with a bias towards understanding customer behavior
• Highly self-motivated; able to manage a fast-paced workload with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of email best practices and success metrics and CAN-SPAM legislation.
• Self-motivated and energetic individual with a high level of initiative and thrives working a fast-paced, challenging digital environment
