Jr. CMF and Color Designer Job in Park City, VT

Full Time Email Me Similar Jobs Email Me This Job Skullcandy is seeking a CMF and color designer with a strong design aesthetic infused with a balance of technology, fashion, color and an understanding of brand lifestyle. This position will report directly to the manager of global color and CMF. This position will help with forecasting and creating the colorways for Skullcandy's product lines. Primary Responsibilities: ! Work with Lead Designers to help create seasonal global color palettes. ! Research the latest in cultural and consumer trends related to color, graphic material/texture, fashion, art, sports and consumer electronics. ! Work with design teams to consolidate trend and color research that support concepts for production. ! Ideate, visualize and develop color proposals for color, materials and finishes for product. ! Present seasonal concepts to internal and international teams. ! Develop digital and physical CMF presentations that show the future vision for Skullcandy product. ! Help build and manage CMF/color documentation from season to season. ! Work with design and manufacturing teams to implement production of final CMF designs. ! Work collaboratively with product and marketing teams to support creative goals of the brand.Required Skills: ! Strong proficiency in Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop ! Knowledge or willing to Learn 3D programs such as Keyshot. ! High understanding of global trends, fashion and technology. ! Basic knowledge of prototyping and manufacturing processes. ! Demonstrates insightful conceptual thinking. ! Projects a professional image and self-confidence. ! Exhibits enthusiasm for work. ! Self-starter and thrives in a team environment with exceptional visual and communication skills. ! Takes direction and constructive feedback from Creative Directors, Senior Directors and Lead Designers. ! Delivers effective written and oral communication. ! Strong presentation skills. ! Prioritizes work and manages time effectively; meets deadlines and demonstrates reliability. ! Exhibits motivation to learn and build skills. ! Ability to convey concepts with a variety of creative techniques. ! Willing to travel internationally and domesticQualifications: ! Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/Industrial Design or equivalent. ! 0-3 years' experience with design consultancy and/or product development or manufacturing company. !
