To live life at full volume.The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for analyzing cost of BOM during the product development phase and to champion initiatives that drive continuous total cost improvements. The sourcing specialist works closely with the Product Development teams to generate bottom up product costing and the needed provides insights and suggestion for the teams to make informed decisions. The ideal candidate is familiar with industrial CE production processes like SMT, injection molding, assembly and has an in-depth understanding of LEAN manufacturing. REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES: ! Supplier and Supply Market Analysis - to conduct detailed supplier and supply market analysis looking at commodity prices, exchange rates, productivity rates, labor stability and costs ! Concept BOM cost modeling - to construct detailed cost models/purchase price analysis of products and services ! Detailed BOM analysis to create a complete understanding of the cost structure initial designs and concepts based on components, manufacturing cost and other cost ! Strategic Analysis - conduct product analysis and turn the information gathered into insightful, well-structured options and opportunities ! Feed and maintain our cost database to ensure and improve accuracy of our Skullcandy financial models ! Support Negotiation Planning and Execution - create detailed pre-negotiation plans and participate in prolonged negotiation sessions with suppliers and conduct post negotiation debriefs and follow through plans ! Sourcing seek out potential suppliers, execute strategic sourcing process by creating and executing RFIs, RFPs, RFQs for new and existing suppliers ! Supplier Qualification active role on the supplier qualification team in auditing and qualifying new and existing vendors ! Contract Management - to prepare, negotiate and implement appropriate forms of contract and pricing commitments with suppliers. Frequently review supply manufacturing agreements and learn to negotiate terms and conditions ! Supplier Performance Management - Monitor, report, manage and continuously improve supplier performance through vendor scorecards and constant communication via in person meetings, phone calls, email and instant messaging with manufacturing partners ! Cross-Functional, work- frequently collaborate with other departments within the organization such as Finance, Category, Engineering, Industrial Design and Packaging ! Represent sourcing from start to finish in the commercialization process for headphonesEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering preferred !
