About the Role:
TOMS is in business to improve lives.The Sr. Merchandise Planner, Ecommerce, is responsible for ensuring financial guidance to the Ecommerce Merchandising Team is met to ensure sales plans are achieved. This position will own forecasting and analysis, core & seasonal buys, inventory management, OTB, and markdown processes for multiple product categories. The Sr. Merchandise Planner, Ecommerce, is the owner of analyzing style and silhouette selling, drive decisions for in-season business and upcoming seasonal buys to achieve financial goals. This individual will proactively identify and monitor trends in the growing Ecommerce business and determine opportunities to improve sales and margins. Determining in season product life cycle based on performance and maximizing margin contribution.
What You'll Do:
! Create seasonal buy strategies and forecasts for multiple product categories that align with company marketing and product creations by utilizing hindsight and trends. Ensure buys are financially tied to budgets that include sales, inventory, and receipt plans. Cross-functional leader with Supply Chain in supplying and tracking product and A3 management.
! OwnOTB for multiple departments of responsibility, ensuring that the OTB aligns to the company budget and finance forecast goals. Analyzing sales & inventory, drive business decisions on a bi-weekly and monthly basis to team and business partners, collaborating with Sr. Director of Planning and VP, Ecommerce.
! Own all business hindsight for cross-functional use to share with key stakeholders such as: eCommerce merchants, wholesale team, supply chain, and product team on a monthly, quarterly, and end of season basis. Hindsight to include analysis that highlights key business indicators by category - sales (reg. price & markdown), inventory levels, missed sales demand with a focus on specific MIDs where necessary. Utilize findings to drive and influence future seasons with product teams and drive 12-month future forecasting by MID.
! Collaborate with eCommerce merchants and product/wholesale team to drive seasonal SMU programs, that tie to Brand goals of 25% product penetration, as well as additional programs throughout the year to drive sales for all product categories. Effectively communicate projected sales contributions from these programs to leadership as they tie back to the financial goals. Own exit strategies, markdown cadence, and liquidation.
! Owninventory management needs, review weekly, and process STOs to ensure in-stock position for seasonal, carryover, and core MIDs. Building stock levels to prepare for promotions and key sale events along with exit strategies to maintain healthy stock levels. Review inventory needs monthly on core and carryover products, communicating inventory needs to the demand planners.
! Own weekly sales reports for multiple product categories; send communications to business partners with detailed sales analysis information, highlighting new product launches and/or special events.
! Communicate inventory availability to business partners finance, product, ecomm merchants, marketing, supply chain for all seasonal, exclusives, and partnership launches.
! Attend seasonal final line reviews, prepared to speak to business needs.
! Manage multiple assignments. Maintain a global view/big picture of the business and understanding the impact of the decisions that are being made as they relate to the whole company.

What You Bring:
! 5-7 years of experience in planning for a multi-channel retail environment, with eCommerce and DTC experience preferred
! Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Planning or Enterprise Planning systems a plus
! Business acumen and understanding of impact of decisions as they relate to the growth of TOMS' overall business strategies
! Advanced knowledge of retail math and full understanding of merchandise planning
! Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail
! Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
! Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, timelines, and demands
! Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
! Ability to apply planning logic to maximize opportunities
