About the Role:
The Copywriter will partner closely with our Copy & Editorial Lead to develop messaging strategies for cultural and business objectives through paid and owned media. They will be responsible for the execution of copy across multiple channels: digital, web, social, print, product launches, wholesale trade/sales and other product needs.
What You'll Do:
! Develop compelling messaging strategies that support DTC business across paid and owned media. Responsibilities include conception through execution for web content, email, paid social, promo events to support ongoing sales goals, etc.
! Amend, revise or redevelop messaging in response to feedback from the creative director or internal stakeholders
! Write clear, persuasive, error-free, original copy for product naming, product descriptions, and romance copy for seasonal PDP; including collabs and partnership initiatives
! Partner with Copy Lead to establish clear brand identity, ideas and concepts that support marketing and brand initiatives to drive product sales
! Oversee campaigns from the production stage through to completion, working closely with creative operations team on timelines and scheduling of projects
What You Bring:
! 3-5+ years of experience writing for a consumer facing brand
! Demonstrated mastery of the English language inclusive of spelling, grammar, writing and proofreading capabilities (the punctuation and grammar errors in this job posting are driving you nuts right now)
! Experience writing for a lifestyle brand in the footwear or e-commerce fashion industries
! Relevant work experience including a 360 approach to brand communications
! A self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight timelines
! Produces clear, concise writing with the ability to translate complex ideas into easily understood language
! Ability to multi-task, self-organize and work under deadline pressures and working with content management systems such as Asana and Digital Asset Management tools
! Commitment to making kindness in business a standard

! $72,000 - $78,000, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus based on the company's performance
