TOMS is in search of a Director of Retail Operations to join the team in Los Angeles, CA.

**PLEASE NOTE: This position requires at least THREE years of experience in Retail Operations Management, for consideration. **

POSITION SUMMARY //
Oversee in-store operations and responsible for executing Company policies and procedures on a variety of operations matters, including: Creation and implementation of policies and procedures, Inventory management and loss prevention, Cash wrap and stock room organization, Supply requests, Store maintenance, Emergency and evacuation plans, Best safety practices, Resolution of IT issues and Implementation and roll out of Omni-Channel initiative.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES //

•Create and evaluate policies and procedures manuals on an ongoing basis. Propose edits, develop and deploy improvements to processes and systems as needed.

•Support and work with key stakeholders to roll out implementation and execution of omni-channel system at all stores.
•Inventory management (e.g. receiving, transfers, consolidations, shipping, tagging, inventory adjustments, consignments, RTVs, damages/defects.)

•Oversee regular inventory counts; monitor and assist with monthly cycle counts. Accountable for meeting the Company’s annual shrink goal by, among other things, ensuring store compliance with Loss Prevention standards, conducting Loss Prevention awareness trainings, working with staff to identify and mitigate / eliminate high loss areas within the store, and developing programs to reduce losses.

•Collaborate with IT and Finance to establish and implement protocols for camera placement, alarm system activations and deactivations, and cash pick-up. Develop and deploy processes to minimize chargebacks.

•Work with Visual and Merchandising teams to assist in floor set execution. Partner with Store Managers and operations team to monitor and analyze business trends, communicating inventory level and assortment needs to Planning and Merchandising to ensure sell-through potential is maximized.

•Manage supply ordering program (e.g., shopping bags, branded supplies); ensure orders align with budget and store P&Ls and all products comply with branding and any regulatory or legal requirements.

•Identify and manage external vendors for cleaning, maintenance, and lighting.

• Monitor maintenance logs for all stores; ensure maintenance tickets are resolved expeditiously and thoroughly. Propose modifications to store, case work, and fixture designs that will increase operational efficiency.
