Job Summary Were on the lookout for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our teams with a focus on our retail stores and operations. As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), youll contribute to TOMS success by collaborating with business leaders, their staff, and HR specialists to plan, organize and implement Human Resources initiatives and people agendas to support TOMS business strategy and growth objectives. Youll be both hands-on and strategic to provide Human Resources expertise in the areas of employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development and more. This is a true generalist role that will work closely with HR Business Partners, Specialists and the client teams on people related issues. You will be instrumental in initiating and driving HR programs/initiatives across the organization. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and still be able to navigate and deliver amidst changing priorities and ambiguous circumstances. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: • Partner with HR Business Partners and Specialists to help guide clients through core HR programs (e.g. performance management, compensation planning, promotions, talent reviews, etc). • Drive people initiatives with strong communication skills, coaching and influencing, and offer thought-leadership regarding organizational/people related strategy and transition planning & execution. • Provide relevant data and recommendations to guide decision-making related to comp, org structure, attrition, promotions and other activities. • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Specialists to deliver high value service to client group. Contract & consult with leaders on deliverables, outcomes, and plans to ensure alignment and integration with TOMS strategic priorities. • Provides consultation and support to managers on employee relations issues and applicable company policies and employment laws for multi-state field organization. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations. Conduct investigations for employment related claims, as needed. • Proactively identifies the need for employee learning and development, retention strategies, succession planning and career Requirements and Qualifications • Multi-state and remote, field organization support required; retail support preferred • Experience working with and influencing executive and management level partners, including consulting on employee relations, leadership development, change management, and related strategies. (10 years) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, using HRIS systems for reporting. • Flexible work style and approach based on client needs/style and HR partnership. • Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across remote geographies throughout the organization and cross-functionally. • Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding client expectations. • Proven project management and operations skills with demonstrated ability to manage global projects and initiatives. Experience and Experience • Generalist experience working within HRBP model (5+ years) • Blend of generalist and organization development experience preferred. • BA/BS degree required. MBA or masters degree preferred.
