Job Summary The Merchandise Manager for the Energy & SMU division is responsible for managing the womens, mens and kids exclusive footwear assortment for our key accounts inclusive of partnerships and special projects. The creation and execution of proactive seasonal strategies that deliver profitable consumer right assortments, This role is critical to create demand for TOMS in the marketplace by providing energy, driving sales, margin, and profitable pricing architectures within these categories. The understanding and application of TOMS Segmentation strategy will also be a key to success, delivering impactful stories to specific channels and tiers. Essential Responsibilities • Build and own seasonal product assortment, collaborating with cross functional teams (design, product development, supply chain, creative, MDM, sales & legal) to deliver consumer right assortment that will create energy, achieve top-line sales target, sell thru and GM targets and other company initiatives. • Maintain acute awareness & make decisions based on business context, including consumer focus, competitive landscape, inline categories, sales channels and internal variables (ie. branding objectives, pricing architecture, deliveries, etc.). • Create and maintain seasonal documents, including visual line presentation, creative assets, product presentations, sales line sheets. Responsible for Product Life Cycle; MID creation and management, Pricing, Weighted Forecasting, etc. • Build historical data, as benchmark & foundation of business, and utilize this information to grow the sales and protect GM margin. • Conduct analysis and market research to guide ongoing improvements to merchandise presentation and performance. • Communicates with cross functional teams to inform the teams and ensure assortments is consumer focused and is performing to expectations. Interfaces with cross functional teams from partner, giving, legal, marketing and finance in management of exclusive partnerships. • Drive calendar conversations to advise the sales team. Ensure that all merchandising and seasonal milestone deadlines are met. Requirements and Qualifications • Contributes to and works well within teams • Excellent attention to detail and very organized • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while shifting priorities • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop • Interest and love for business, fashion and improving lives • Product management/merchandising - product creation and product management experience with a fashion brand. • Product Development - experience in the development and commercialization of fashion products together with 3rd party contract manufacturers.
