Job Summary The Site Merchandiser is responsible for the online merchandising of TOMS.com. They will drive sales, margin and conversion targets within the category. This position is accountable for creating and executing the TOMS.com merchandise plan and calendar, and will work with the buying, marketing, content and UX teams to execute their merchandising strategy. Essential Responsibilities • Strategize and assists in building weekly / monthly merchandise calendar while maintaining an acute awareness of the competitive landscape. The strategy will develop, communicate, and drive seasonal business and assortment strategy to meet financial targets and customer expectations. • Collaborate with buying team to develop business driving opportunities and ensure optimal product placement. Communicate to the buying, product and content teams action plans and items to increase the performance of online metrics. • Utilize web analytics and data to guide ongoing improvements to merchandise presentation, performance, structure and navigation within their category. • Drive improvements to customer experience alongside UI/UX and content teams within category. Strategize cross functional projects / enhancements / updates that will improve category conversion and drive revenue growth. • Understand financial metric goals and make recommendations on how to drive their business forward based on sales, history while understanding market trends. • Ensure that all merchandising, marketing and promotion deadlines are met. Partners with creative to ensure assortment and merchandising strategy are in alignment with business and customer needs. • Present sales analysis to merchandising and ecommerce leadership as well as cross functional teams, highlighting weekly key takeaways and future action plans. • Executes different merchandising strategies across user segments, channels and products. Seek out new ways to enhance and evolve the online shopping experience. • Manage category team to key deliverables. Requirements and Qualifications • Excellent attention to detail and very organized • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while shifting priorities • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; collaborate effectively with cross functional partners • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience in e-commerce back-end (ATG, Endeca, Google Analytics a plus) Education and Experience • 3 5 years of experience with an ecommerce platform • College Degree Preferred (fashion or merchandising education is a plus) • Experience with CPG or Fashion • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop direct report(s) EEO Statement: TOMS is an equal opportunity employer and will consider applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the ordinance. • Back Share • • • • • Apply Now
