During this full-time internship program, we expect our interns will work an average of 40 hrs/week at our Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA and be available for the entirety of the 9.5-week program. About the role: The Digital Marketing Intern will work with our amazing team to establish a new extension of digital marketing for TOMS focused on emerging marketing channels. One area will include developing an evergreen micro-influencer program to integrate into third-party marketplaces, programmatic direct mail, and more. During the course of the summer program the Intern will participate in full lifecycle digital campaign activations starting with the product story and learning why specific silhouettes or product lines need influencer generated support. In addition, you will develop an understanding of how brand guidelines come into play; how influencers were activated and why, and how to evaluate campaign performance in Social and Performance Media. The ideal candidate will have an interest in digital/emerging marketing strategies and how brands are utilizing influencers to increase brand awareness and ultimately drive sales. Heres what you will do: • Work with the web merchandising/product teams to determine products for activation through influencer marketing channels based on launch calendars. • Work within the Influencer platform (management software) to source a list of influencers that fit brand guidelines. goal is to get 100s of people per month. • Manage outreach of influencers and negotiate levels of compensation. • Manage sourcing of product to influencers with digital team, web merchandising, and distribution center managing dates of distribution to align with marketing/launch calendar. • Work with Performance Digital Team to leverage any assets in performance media to determine appropriate influencer partnerships. • Report on campaign performance (reach and performance metrics) and make recommendations as to which influencers to continue to nurture relationships. • Participate in calls with agency/managed support to understand brand/agency relationships. Skills that youll need: • Strong cross-functional communication you will be partnering with: web merchandising, digital marketing, consumer insights, external agency, influencers • Fluency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills, PPT • Analytical Skills you will be digging into a lot of data to identify influencers aligned with consumer sentiment • Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills • Able to operate off of Marketing calendar • Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 25lbs of product or office supplies we all pitch in where we can!
