Job Summary The Digital Graphic Designer is responsible for maintaining look and feel of TOMS digital assets. Graphic designer will work with closely with the creative team to support e-commerce, merchandising, and marketing goals. In working with others, designer must have strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Designer should be able to listen closely to feedback and create assets that address the marketing goals while maintaining the brand aesthetic. Must work well under the pressure of tight deadlines and changing demands. Essential Responsibilities • Create weekly web designs and marketing emails that effectively communicate the message and goals required by the E-Commerce and Marketing teams • Participate in initial planning of digital assets with Art Director and Sr. Copywriter to review incoming briefs, address client goals, and discuss messaging and graphic guidelines. • Work with E-commerce team on a consistent basis to determine changes to strategy, messaging or timing, and react accordingly. • Collaborate with copywriters to incorporate messaging and strategic call-to-action into designs. • Work with UX/UI team to constantly improve functionality and usability of site. • Generate pro-active feedback and insights for technical and visual innovation of digital communication pieces. Requirements and Qualifications • 2-5 years relevant experience in a corporate marketing and/or design environment. • Past experience working for a Lifestyle or Fashion company a plus, but not required. • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferred. • Have an objective point of view with design and keep project goals at the forefront of design work. • Work collaboratively in an environment that values creativity and flexibility. • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal. • A strong portfolio displaying creative, conceptual design skills across various digital platforms. • Self-motivated mindset with ability to research and learn the latest digital software and innovations, and keep up with UX/UI best practices • Conceptual thinker with design sensibilities around user experience, infographics, typography, illustrations etc. • A strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment • Experience working with project managers to organize and prioritize daily schedule. Knowledge of project management software (Workfront, Asana, Jira, Slack, Basecamp, Trello) a plus. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Invision.
