Job Summary
The Allocation Planning Analyst is a key player on the TOMS Retail Team. They will need to be able to wear multiple shoes as the primary functions include: daily business reporting, seasonal analysis and strategizing, replenishment planning and execution, all while working cross-functionally w/ their retail partners. Being able to adapt to a fast-paced environment w/ a high level of ambiguity is a necessity, along w/ strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. As an Analyst, excellent problem solving, analytical, and quantitative skills are a must. This position will take on variety of tasks to help drive the retail division; being a self-starter w/ excellent follow through will lead to their success.
Essential Responsibilities
!
Monitor, recap, and balance inventory levels based on store selling, trends, capacities, and needs.
!
Works cross functionally to plan and execute monthly initial floor set allocations and returns.
!
Execute daily store replenishment across Footwear, Eyewear, Apparel, and Accessories based on sales history, trend, and other key KPIs.
!
Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries and provide timely communication on impacts of delays/cancellations.
!
Manage warehouse inventory levels to optimize store allocations for key sales seasons.
!
Produce and supply appropriate reports and communication to management, merchants, store operations, visual, and merchandising teams on a timely and consistent basis.
!
Provide hindsight and seasonal reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
!
Proactively initiates analysis & recaps including but not limited to: sales, inventory, style count, promotions, markdowns, size curves and store performance.
!
Identify and recap weekly and seasonal hits & misses to management.
!
Process purchase order entries, supply orders, pricing updates, and system admin updates.
!
Assist the retail management team w/ additional clerical, allocation, analysis, planning, and other duties/responsibilities as needed.
!
Work with Management to optimize team performance, as well as design and implement reporting tools/routines.
!
Work closely w/ Store Ops to ensure product and order management requirements are met.
!
Provide tracking metrics for new initiatives, such as new store openings & program launches.
!
Partner w/ global business partners to ensure consistent business measures are followed.
Requirements and Qualifications
!
2-3 years of retail replenishment, allocation, and analysis experience.
!
3 years in the footwear/apparel industry. Brand/Specialty experience a plus.
!
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must.
!
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks across a wide range of business.
!
Effectively manages projects and timelines to deliver results by critical deadlines.
!
Ability to synthesize and communicate data into comprehensive reports.
!
Self-starter w/ a high level of follow through and attention to details.
!
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
!
Able to adapt quickly with changes and directions w/ high levels of ambiguity.
!
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience
!
High school degree or equivalent required
!
BA/BS degree in business/mathematics or equivalent work experience.
!
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must.
!
Working knowledge of SAP preferred
