Job Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for monitoring inventory for 3PL fulfillment centers and US retail stores. This position ensures consistent and efficient service and performance is achieved. Identifies, evaluates and develops customer inventories through analysis and operations of the replenishment system .Maintains replenishment model information, including monitoring the accuracy of weekly data, history, lead-times, past and future promotional events, new product information, pricing, and customer service performance goals.Ensures availability of product through the monitoring and oversight of inventory systems.Maximizes the efficiencies of shipments.Resolves unacceptable situations with customers, as well as problems between shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers to ensure planned arrival of product.Acts as liaison between customer, sales, customer service and carriers.Advises on trends and/or shifts in demand that could impact company's service levels.

Essential Responsibilities

⏵ Monitor Global 3PL cycle count programs ensuring programs achieve TOMS objectives

⏵ Audit cycle count procedures

⏵ Review and document cycle counts submitted from 3PL

⏵ Review and obtain appropriate approval for cycle count adjustments

⏵ Review SAP interface errors (Idocs)

⏵ Perform inventory reconciliation

⏵ Review of goods receipts, put-away, transfers, intercompany transfers

⏵ Monitor shortages and timely update of 3PL inventory levels

⏵ Monitor and resolve failed returns

⏵ Lead or participate in inventory-related projects

⏵ Monitor inventory accuracy and shrink and ensure that targets are met

⏵ Monitor status of the cycle count programs

⏵ Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

⏵ Strong SAP SD skills, and knowledge of SAP MM

⏵ Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

⏵ Detailed working knowledge of 3PL Distribution service providers, fulfillment operations for multi-channel retail and e-commerce distribution

⏵ Planning and organizing skills

⏵ Ability to participate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

⏵ Sound judgment and decision-making

⏵ Able to travel to Warehouse in Greater Los Angeles 1-2 times per week

Education and Experience

⏵ Strong work ethic, desire to seek opportunity to assist versus needing to be told exactly what to do.

⏵ Associate's or Bachelors degree in Business or Technical Area (Preferred)
