Job Summary The Vice President, Sales will contribute to the Americas regions success by serving as a key business partner to the CMO & General Manager, Americas while collaborating with cross-functional business leaders, and by providing direction and leadership for the wholesale strategy and sales operations.

This position is critical to the Americas growth plan and is responsible for driving sales, brand market share and growth opportunities for North America (US and Canada) through two distinctive wholesales channels: national and independent accounts.

Partnering with key leaders across the Company, the VP will lead all aspects of wholesale sales to deliver consistency in the customer experience and ensure a market-leading position for this dynamic and unique company.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the footwear category and/or experience with contemporary apparel and/or accessory brands. Additionally, this candidate will be able to identify key trends across the region to connect with key consumer segments to promote brand loyalty and grow the business with respect to community and brand authenticity.



Essential ResponsibilitiesAchievement of Business Results
! Develop, lead and implement a compelling strategic vision (both short and long-term) for the Americas Region which supports TOMS Long Range Plan (LRP).
! Develop clear departmental strategy to achieve measurable and financial goals inclusive of individual sales targets while focusing on TOMS EBITDA and Americas Direct Margin revenue targets
! Develop and maintain key customer relationships, and implement strategies for current and future market expansion while supporting and growing current customers needs
! Identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Facilitate successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch. Foster an organization of continuous process improvement.
! Collaborate and influence relationships across departmental lines between Product Marketing, Planning and Supply Chain to develop and execute go-to-market strategy for footwear and eyewear categories.
! Evaluate wholesale sales activities across all Product categories; provide options to improve strategy for all sales channels inclusive of key accounts and plan for risks.

Sales Operations & Customer Service
! Leads the overall Sales Operations function to ensure that the sales team and the business has the tools, systems, insight and processes in order to deliver the desired results
! Ensures that Sales Analytics develops and delivers on the reporting, analysis and insight necessary to effectively run the daily business of sales and provide strategic insight into the performance of the sales team and overall business
! Oversee all aspects of the companys service operations inclusive of Customer Service and 3rd party call center ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved while providing best-in-class service to internal and external stakeholders

Leadership
! Provides leadership to sales organization, and counsel to GM, in implementing sales organization objectives that appropriately reflect TOMS business goals
! Provides leadership to the sales organizations management team while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance aligning with TOMS core values. Works closely with Human Resources team to develop training and coaching programs for sales team to expand their selling and leadership skills.

Requirements & Qualifications
! Must have had global or multi-region (i.e. Canada) leadership responsibility, including remote team oversight, where influencing skills are critical.
! Must be an outstanding servant leader, with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
! Must be business savvy and have the ability to grasp the business model and strategic plans of the enterprise.
! Must be highly adept and capable of building and maintaining trusting partnerships with business unit leadership as well as with the companys external consumer, wholesale, retail and cross-functional partners.
! Must have proven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop and retain world class talent.

Education & Experience
! Bachelors degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field.
! Master in Business or equivalent is a plus
! 15+ years of successful leadership experience in a complex, multi-brand, multi-channel global environment. Experience in footwear is required.
