Job Summary
The SVP, Global Supply Chain & Operations will be responsible for overall strategic direction, management and performance of TOMSs global finished goods logistics network, which includes shipping, warehousing, trade compliance and distribution of all finished product from Asia, and potentially other global sites; the outsourced European Distribution Center located in The Netherlands; the outsourced United States Distribution Center in California; the outsourced Distribution Center in Canada; and warehouses for the giveaway products and the warehouses at origin in Xiamen and Ho-Chi-Min city. The SVP will manage relationships with key business partners, including internal stakeholders, 3PL providers, our factory partners and other external providers, and develop and execute logistics strategies to drive the business, accelerate and support efficient growth.

Essential Responsibilities

⏵ Review, evaluate and develop the global logistics and sourcing strategy to support retailers, customers, and recipients in over 50 countries.

⏵ Drive the requisite consensus behind a new, shared vision for Distribution, Logistics and Sourcing.

⏵ Establish and manage business relationships with factories, factory groups, T2 suppliers, third party logistics providers and other logistics providers, negotiating best possible terms.

⏵ Partner with design, merchandising, sales, finance and other internal functions.

⏵ Develop business plans and budgets for all teams of the Global Supply Chain & Operations functions. Manage expenses to budget and expectations through clear KPIs.

⏵ Establish accountability in key logistics, distribution, trade compliance, planning and manufacturing processes by creating key performance metrics (KPIs) for measuring effectiveness.

⏵ Build, mentor and develop existing teams in the supply chain organization (product development, trade compliance, international operations, planning, logistics, distribution).

⏵ Work closely with peers to ensure alignment with global corporate strategy and cross functional efficiencies.

Requirements and Qualifications

⏵ Leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or operations in footwear, accessories, apparel, or related industries. Branded experience preferred.

⏵ Distribution operations experience in a multi-category and multi-channel environment, including direct retail, e-commerce, wholesale/distributors, and NGO-like giving business channels.

⏵ Broad distribution leadership background, ideally globally.

⏵ Leadership experience in product development, manufacturing and quality control

⏵ Expert knowledge of planning and planning processes

⏵ Knowledge of Trade compliance, customs processes and testing

Education and Experience

⏵ 10+ years of successful leadership experience in a complex, multi-brand, multi-channel global environment. This must include experience in the footwear industry.

⏵ Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experience.
