About the Role:
TOMS is in business to improve lives. Merchandising is a critical function of any business, and at TOMS its no different. It starts and ends with the consumer and is expressed primarily through story telling. As the Global Merchandise Manager, Mens for TOMS, your role is to apply this, as well as all the other Merchandising Principles, to develop profitable Consumer Right Assortments (CRAs) that deliver the right product, at the right place, at the right price, at the right time, and in the right quantity. You will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth across all business units you oversee and will be an integral part in strategy building to achieve this. You have a proven ability to understand the consumer, and most importantly their needs. An ability torecognize trends, capitalize as appropriate, and see beyond to identifywhats next. You are highlyanalytical, but also creative, and have the ability to blend both the art with the science of Merchandising. And as such, you will be successful in working cross functionally with the Global and Regional teams to deliver upon this with globally relevant CRAs to each marketplace. You will also champion the TOMS experience for the brand by working closely with yourcolleagues to bring cross-merchandising to life. You will be an integral part ofthe Go-To-Market process, delivering presentations, strategies, tools, and guidelines that will help drivethe CRAs, inconjunctionwith Sales, to the accounts, and the consumer.

Preferably, the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related professional experience. Should be willing to work as part of a team. The ability to interact cross-functionallywithMerchandising, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Planning, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams is essential. The ability to work under pressure, think strategically, and act tactically, being open minded and flexible are all considered key qualities of a Merchandising Manager, Mens Footwear.
What You'll Do:
! Create a premium consumer experience by Identifying, prioritizing and framing consumer trends (insights); take regional inputs and weave into the Global product engines to inform and influence the product creation process. Provide qualitative information (trends, colors, materials, graphics, price/value, performance, innovation needs)
! Create seasonal merchandising briefs and business plans collaborate cross functionally within the Merchandising team to ensure cohesion; and communicate to Global and Regional teams;
! Facilitate Product Lifecycle Management by creating and managing strategies for what products continue and/or what products retire in each seasonal range
! Execute segmentation through profitable consumer right assortments that leverage Category Drivers, Seasonal, and Seasonal Energy products and key programs and meet & exceed account revenue targets for both Wholesale and DTC Partners
! Build and drive alignment for segmentation and differentiation strategies in the marketplace
! Provide seasonal visual assortment tools to support sales efforts, and partner with them to present and land profitable and consumer right assortments
! Engage and assist to ensure a flawless Go-To-Market process
! Drive relevant assortment for Key Accounts and strategic partners together with local markets
! Develop cost matrix/pricing matrix for all seasonal pricing
! Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with Regional & Global counterparts
! Work closely with the Merchandising Coordinator to facilitate the timely and correct delivery of the samples; Analyze and continually seek to improve sample process, optimizing both effectiveness and costs
! Partner with Merchandising to ensure all relevant and accurate information is housed within the internal systems; that it is continually updated and accurate in near real time
! Create seasonal forecasts by partnering cross-functionally with the Planning and Operations team; ensuring forecast accuracy and influencing the overall inventory buys
! Understand the metrics of SKU Efficiency, how to manage, analyze and control in a way that delivers the right number, in the right places, at the right time to drive growth
! Participate in Global Milestone meetings, in addition to Regional trade shows and market visits
! Deliver all assigned projects on time, in full, and while maintaining the quality standards
! Other tasks may be assigned from time to time which contribute to the overall success of the company

What You Bring:
! 5+ Years of experience with Footwear and/or Apparel Merchandising
! 5+ Years of experience with Product Development
! 3+ Years of Team Leadership experience
! Understanding of the Design Process
! Contributes to and works well within teams
! Excellent attention to detail and very organized
! Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while shifting priorities
! Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
! Interest and love for business, fashion and improving lives
! Product management/merchandising - product creation and product management experience with a fashion brand
! A passion to create great product and story telling
! Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across geographies throughout the organization and cross-functionally
! Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations
! Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point a must. Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop a plus
