Pelagic is a 15-year-old apparel brand that was born and raised in Newport Beach, California out of the pure love for sport fishing & ocean sports, and its dire need to have a proper brand of clothing that represents the lifestyle. Being an ocean based sport, the style is much akin to the surf industry, albeit with the technical focus primarily on the needs and demands of the well rounded waterman’s lifestyle... Water, wind, and sun protection with a ton of style and function. Over the last decade the sport fishing industry has taken off with a plethora or reality based fishing shows on TV and big game fishing tournaments all year long around the world and Pelagic has been right there with it since Day 1.
We are currently looking to add an E-Commerce Content Manager to our team in Costa Mesa, CA.
What you’ll be doing:
• Work with marketing, design, and sales team to perform daily website updates on products, media, and blog content to help drive traffic and increase sales
• Manage product loading and regular updates to ensure imagery, features, and copy is up to date
• Work with marketing/design team to create and execute a quarterly email marketing calendar
• Generate regular internet sales reports and present to sales/marketing team on key statistics
• Take charge in maximizing SEO and external digital advertising platforms
• Manage brand’s Amazon sales platform
• Manage brand’s e-commerce customer list
• Stay up to date on current marketing, digital, and industry trends
• Anything else we (or you) can pile on – we’re a lean company and everyone wears a few hats
