Pelagic is a 15-year-old apparel brand that was born and raised in Newport Beach, California out of the pure love for sport fishing & ocean sports, and its dire need to have a proper brand of clothing that represents the lifestyle. Being an ocean based sport, the style is much akin to the surf industry, albeit with the technical focus primarily on the needs and demands of the well rounded waterman’s lifestyle... Water, wind, and sun protection with a ton of style and function. Over the last decade the sport fishing industry has taken off with a plethora or reality based fishing shows on TV and big game fishing tournaments all year long around the world and Pelagic has been right there with it since Day 1.

We are currently looking to add an E-Commerce Customer Service Representative to our team in Costa Mesa, CA.

What you’ll be doing:
• Responsible for promptly handling all inbound customer phone calls
• Make product suggestions to consumers and always try to upsell
• Always establish a friendly rapport with customers
• Process all online generated orders
• Provide warehouse team with pick tickets
• Promptly handle all consumer warranties for Ecommerce accounts
• Responds to all inquiry emails related to Pelagic.com
• Provide daily Customer Service for all Live Chat communication requests
• Assists with making sure all available products are showing up on Ecommerce website
• Run daily report to ensure all Ecommerce orders are properly invoiced.
• Process Pelagic employee orders
• Assist with covering Pelagic Retail Store when needed.
• Assist with making sure Ecommerce bulks never go past cancel
• Send stock adjustments to management
• Track all Eyewear defects for both wholesale accounts and Ecommerce
Job Requirements
• At least 1 year of E-Commerce Customer Service experience
• Full Circle experience a plus
• Amazon experience a plus
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficient
• Experience in the Apparel Industry and Action Sports Industry a plus
• Effective communicator with a great personality. Comfortable interacting with customers and co-workers in a professional manner in person, online, and by phone
