Are you a social media savant or an email-marketing expert? Then our digital marketing team is looking for you to join them as the new Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist. In this role you will support the brand marketing initiatives through digital marketing engagement.

You will be responsible for executing our digital marketing strategy for social media and email marketing activities for the Shimano bike categories and brands. Under the management of the digital marketing manager you will ensure that all activities in your area are connecting with our audience.

As a specialist in your craft, Shimano will look to you to advise on new trends and current performance within the online marketing landscape. Providing the organization with guidance on how to ensure maximum customer engagement with the Shimano brand & products.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and manage the North American online marketing strategy and policies.
• Monitor SEO and digital assets, offer suggestions for & implement optimization.
• Engage with and excite the online cycling community, through expert use of email marketing and online advertising.
• Help Set KPIs, measure performance, provide analysis and recommendations.
• Support your internal team actions and provide guidance for local sales agencies and dealers.
• Ensure all content is translatable and can reach all targeted audiences.
• Manage your resources, including use of agencies and budgets to ensure maximum return on investment.
• Organize and maintain digital asset library
Job Qualifications:

• Expert with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and relevant analytics reporting
• Must be proficient in a windows environment including intermediate/advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Be able to work in mac and pc environments
• Must be highly organized and possess a high attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Degree in English a plus
• 3-years’ experience with social management platforms such Sprout Social, Falcon Social, Hoot Suite
• Adept with FB Ads Manager/Business Manager and Global Pages
• Proficient using the Adobe creative suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom
• Bike technical experience a plus
• Into details, timely, professional and be deadline oriented
• Enjoy working with a collaborative and creative team, but ultimately hold yourself to a higher standard because you’re a perfectionist of your own craft
• Content creation experience with attention to detail


Bachelor’s degree in English is preferred.
