Who We Are Looking For?
An individual with an optimistic, people-first attitude and a relentless commitment to team. Experience working for an Outdoor Industry consumer products company or Active outdoor lifestyle brand preferred. Familiarity with Aqua Lung’s core consumers – Swimmers, Divers, Kayakers and water exploration enthusiasts a plus. Someone who has a personal interest in water-related recreational activities including swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and boating.

Your Job:
In support of the Product Manager, Snorkel &Swim, the Product Coordinator Swim, Snorkel, Paddle (SSP) primary responsibility is to support the North America Product Managers for the Swim, Snorkel, and Paddle (SSP) brands by owning/managing product testing & compliance, factory auditing, and product database management. This individual works closely with overseas suppliers and third-party testing laboratories to coordinate product testing and factory auditing in a timely and accurate manner, and to immediately identify and rectify any errors by creating and submitting corrective action plans. The position is also responsible for creating and updating product specification sheets, overseeing factory and 3PL rework projects, and performing improvements to achieve excellence in keeping full and accurate records and maintaining/managing product details in Aqua Lung’s databases.

This position is required to travel 5% of the time.

Your Responsibilities:
• Arrange, track, and maintain records for annual production and packaging production testing to meet all global, domestic, and customer-specific compliance requirements.
• Conduct and manage personal flotation device (PFD) testing & approvals through USCG and Transport Canada. Additional CPSIA, CE, Reach, and Prop 65 compliance required as well.
• Create and manage all factory product spec sheets and review production and testing requirements with suppliers.
• Ensure timely and accurate first article inspections and to immediately identify and rectify any errors.
• Manage item and part number set-up in Product Hub and ASI.
• Manage packaging graphics part number set-up and ‘to-do’ list of graphic artwork needed from marketing department.
• Maintain up-do-date and accurate internal product line lists.
• Maintain accurate records of all SSP product details, including slip sheets, and unit/case pack/pallet dimensions and weights, and make updates in Product Hub and ASI as necessary.
• Arrange, track, and maintain records for customer-mandated factory audits for all SSP brands.
• Manage annual federal database registration for relevant products sold within the SSP division.
• Review internal processes and identify and implement improvements.
• Understand company’s goals and objectives.
• Stay up to date on the latest developments regarding any and all global, domestic, and customer compliance and testing requirements.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule and required break and meal periods.
• Comply with company’s time reporting policies and procedures.
• Perform, with a team approach, other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in product and packaging testing or compliance capacity.
• Knowledge of Mass & Club testing requirements essential.
• Experience in a high pace, deadline driven environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Mass & Club channel preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (ASI &/or JDE)
• Aptitude for learning new technology.
• Strong analytical skills.
