About the job

The Operations manager is responsible for planning, managing and overseeing all aspects of the Production, Distribution and Sales Operations function, including the management of all outsourced 3PL contract logistics partners in North America, Europe and Asia.

Provides cost effective, high performance and best in class fulfillment operations that support on time, accurate movement of orders through a multi-channel global network. Develops local planning to support the Stussy Operations strategy as well as to ensure effective performance to meet service, quality and cost expectations.

Oversee IT functions related to Order Procurement and Fulfillment
• Design, implement and manage Full Circle ERP system improvements to enact more effective business practices and meet future goals.
• Oversee all aspects Full Circle integration with external systems globally, as well as implementing new systems if/when required.
Develop, execute and monitor the Operations Plan
• Develop, implement and maintain the operating plan to ensure Stussy utilizes the best combination of cost, service and quality to meet overall B2B and B2C order fulfillment requirements
• Provide best in class, high performance recommendations to manage and improve the Global Fulfillment operations; work with internal and external stakeholders to gain approval and implement recommendations
• In partnership with all internal and external stakeholders ensure that all required processes and procedures are in place to offer scalable, sustainable and flexible solutions
Manage, plan and oversee Global Fulfillment Operations
• Develop, implement and manage the operating plan and budget. Coordinate development and implementation of direct and indirect operating plan.
• Monitor department budget and report regularly on departmental performance against plans and budget, specifically on time performance and cost per unit.
• Provide direction and close oversight to providers of Distribution services, including managing, negotiating, and implementing all aspects of the Distribution function.
• Oversee Sales Operations and Production and Fulfillment, establish and maintain a DIFOT product launch process across all distribution channels.
• Ensuring compliance to Order Book Priorities as determined by Sales and Administered through Allocations and Warehouse fulfillment.
Manage and Improve Operations performance and costs
• Working closely with key stakeholders, including Retail, Web, Wholesale and International to measure and manage performance, including service, quality and costs.
• Collaboratively establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Scorecards to ensure KPI targets are achieved. Establish corrective action plans and communicate progress to management team.
• Manage outsourced 3PL Distribution providers’ performance in North America, Europe and Asia to ensure best-in-class costs, quality and service, including conducting contract negotiations with 3PL suppliers.
• Plan, develop and manage Sales Operations, production and Distribution improvement plans, including improvements to service, quality, visibility and flexibility.
• Collaboratively develop real time order tracking tools that facilitate improved visibility of orders through the supply chain.
Oversee and lead the Global Operations processes
• Develop and deploy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard reporting that are integrated with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments, suppliers and customers.
• Design, implement and drive core management routines to manage calendars and 3PL operations, including project management, issues resolution and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain risk assessments, including business continuity plans and analytics in respect to customer service and quantitative benefits.
• Establish and conduct daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance management of distribution performance, and inventory accuracy in accordance with required service levels
