This is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, passionate, flexible and focused individual to join a high-quality Finance team. The main responsibilities of the role will be to support driving a key strategic project to transform the process for one of our Retail-based reporting obligations. This project will require technical research, cross functional collaboration with our internal teammates and external stakeholders, and IT-related efficiencies. The Rookie will also assist in the accurate and timely processing of various accounting functions for Under Armour Europe BV and its various subsidiaries, as well as developing and maintaining robust accounting controls and processes. The Rookie Accountant will report to the Senior Accountant.Perform accounting functions: bookkeeping, reviewing of financial information, preparing and posting journal entries, and preparing account reconciliationsAssist with annual account preparation and various audit inquiriesPartner closely with cross functional teammates to ensure accurate and timely bookingsSupport the Under Armour EMEA team on ad hoc issues and improvement projects where requiredQualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)Attention to detailAdvanced Excel skillsStrong analytical and technical skillsAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skillsFluency in English is a must, while other European language is also an advantageEducation And / Or ExperienceStudent in Accounting/Finance degree or a related disciplineApplication process Successful candidates will be contacted within the first 2 weeks after application.
