Summary: 
Under Armour has established itself as an authentic and powerful sports performance Brand within Team Sports.  The “Marketing Coordinator - Basketball” is responsible for providing support to Sr. Category Lead who is responsible protecting this position and amplifying our voice within North America Team Sports. 
An exciting opportunity, the “Marketing Coordinator - Basketball” shall work in a supporting role to the Sr. Category Marketing Lead on all marketing related activity within the Basketball category.  As the Marketing Coordinator - Basketball, you will assist in crafting go-to-market strategies, positioning and activation plans for Under Armour. The “Marketing Coordinator - Basketball” will assist with the coordination and distribution of unified marketing materials across all touch-points.  It is essential for this teammate to work directly with Sr. Category Marketing Lead to partner cross-functionally with various business units, including Sales, Brand, Sports Marketing, Product, PR, Events, and Social Media to insure all category objectives are met.
Associate Category Manager – Team Sports Will Provide Support In The Following Areas:
Category Voice & Positioning – Marketing Coordinator - Basketball to assist with defining UA’s Brand Voice in Team Sports; assist with determining goals, strategies and tactics to be used in support of driving sales and building brand awareness.
Category Strategic Marketing Direction – Assist with setting direction and POV and managing world-class execution of partnerships, on-site events, activations, partnerships, and other marketing opportunities.
Assist With Driving Go To Market Strategies – work in a supporting role with rolling 18-month marketing plan tied to business plan.  Assist with aligning internal parties across product, sales, sports marketing and other cross-functional partners.
Partner with Product Teams - Be an active, integrated part of the product team to insure delivery of their business needs from a Category Marketing standpoint.  Have deep understanding of business objectives as well as key products and their USPs.  Serve as the liaison between Product and Marketing assuring all Marketing touch points have the information they need to execute effectively.
Consumer and Business Analytics – Work with Sr. Category Lead on collaborating with internal and external partners to understand the target consumer (or customer) and track to metrics to evaluate our effectiveness in reaching that consumer.
Creative Management – Assists with creative briefs, help manage the creative development timeline and process.
Activation - Partner with sports marketing on events and grassroots marketing on asset activation strategies.
E-Commerce, Retail & Wholesale support - Partner with UA.com and in-store marketing to win in-store and online at both DTC and wholesale doors on a global basis.
Partner with Sales Team - Assist sales team with materials needed for major account presentations/sell-ins.

What have you accomplished already?
BA required
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced, product-oriented, consumer-driven company
Be globally curious in nature
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in the following areas, prior experience incorporating these elements into a fully integrated marketing strategy
Previous experience leading & managing packaging
Consumer and Business Analytics
Consumer Segmentation and Targeting
Marketing Strategy tied to a business plan (long and short-term)
Creative Process Briefing
Budgeting, ROI Quantification
Internal client partnership-building with product teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include: creative briefs, presentations (Power Point, Keynote, and verbal), great storytelling
Previous experience at Sports Company or retail environment is a plus
Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel)
