Summary: Under Armour’s vision is to be the #1 performance athletic company in the world. To help achieve this goal, the executive team is committed to building a world-class Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) team whose sole focus is to develop core competencies and sustainable competitive advantages in the areas of strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, executive-level decision support, and strategy execution.
The Financial Analyst – Supply Chain will be a key member of this team and will report directly to the Director of FP&A – Supply Chain. This position will also work closely with Managers, Directors, and VP’s throughout the Supply Chain organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Works closely with Supply Chain, Accounting, and Corporate FP&A
Coordinate the budgeting for Supply Chain Back Office groups including but not limited to Sourcing, Global Operations, Product Development, Quality and Materials.
Perform all monthly close responsibilities related to the Supply Chain Back Office SG&A.
Responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly budget variance reports for all areas within Supply Chain and communicating major drivers of variations.
Provides qualitative and quantitative analysis on SG&A spends in order to assist management in making important decisions.
Provides quarterly financial packages to CSCO.
Work with Sourcing teams to update the Vendor 3-Year Plan on a seasonal basis
Support the Latin America Sourcing office from both a Functional and SG&A perspective
Help support the S&OP process on a monthly basis
Help to coordinate with the Front-End Regions on forecasting Air Freight, Service Levels, and cost-savings initiatives
Other duties and projects as may be assigned
 Critical Skills:
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Solid understanding of Accounting rules and regulations
Must exhibit professionalism and exceptional communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced / high growth environment.
Computer Skills
SAP/IBPf accounting system experience preferred or familiarity with other corporate financial accounting systems.
PC experience: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc).
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration is preferred.
1-3 years of accounting/finance experience.
