What will I do at UA?
P2P Business Partner
Communication and partnership with the Business Units, FP&A and Strategic Procurement leads in order to be a part of strategic planning meetings and proactive process design.
Subject matter expert of P2P processes and systems with the goal to understand each business unit and Regional SSC and any challenges they have with managing operations and P2P activity.
Collaboration with Global P2P KPI’s and metrics in order to identify additional opportunities for continuous improvement.
Operational/Tactical support
Lead training on the Ariba system to include requisitions, receipt, invoice reconciliation
Govern P2P process. Analyze and identify improvement process opportunities
Provide the necessary data and reports to enable management decisions within the department and business units they support. This includes creation and distribution of department metrics and creation of Ad Hoc reports as needed.
Supplier Relationship Management
Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
Lead monthly close activities as part of the business partner support role.
Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate team mates.
Collaborate with management in analyzing and implementing relevant strategies and policies to drive towards more business value.
Act as an ambassador to obtain buy-in from Under Armour teammates for the P2P process.
Partner with UA teammates to quickly resolve issues and to facilitate education of P2P processes.
Lead training of new employees on the current P2P process and system.
Partner with team mates and management with creating contracts and/or blanket purchase orders related to contractual or project spend.
Lead and support Continuous Improvement projects and process design
What does UA need from me?
Ability to work without supervision while being accountable for individual and department results.
Establish, develop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships to ensure an integrated contribution to the company's corporate objectives.
Demonstrated ability to identify needs/issues, probe for root causes, and evaluate alternative business solutions and approaches
3-4 years operational procurement, accounts payable or general accounting experience
College Degree
SAP and Ariba experience preferred or other equivalent system experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
Open to change and willing to learn new skills
Ability to follow up on pending issues
Ability to meet deadlines
Knowledge of continuous improvement strategies
