RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide accounting leadership, including analytical, & decision support for DTC Co-Branded Credit Card activities.
• Manage all Co-Branded credit card program accounting activities to ensure compliance with new revenue they are appropriately accounted for and reconciled on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Oversee and manage cash flows and marketing investments associated with the Co-Branded Credit Card program. • Build both operational and internal control excellence thru standardization of processes and automation of accounting and/or reporting.
• Partner with the business unit and FP&A to drive long-term profitable growth.
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range financial planning, analysis, & reporting processes.
• Support the weekly update of quarterly financial projections and articulate “The Story” related to any changes.
• Support in-depth financial, variance, and trending analysis for key profitability drivers and metrics.
• Interpret results and articulate actionable recommendations to maximize profitability and ensure financial targets are achieved.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5 - 7 plus years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis within a major banking or retail environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
• Proven track record of managing relationships with external partners or vendors
• Excellent communication skills – ability to influence through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong financial, planning, and organizational skills • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing strategies
• Strong team player with ability leverage input from across the organization
