The Head of Loyalty Payment Cards is responsible for developing and managing Under Amour’s overall loyalty payment card program strategies to generate incremental revenue, reduce costs, drive customer loyalty, and increase brand awareness.  S/he will help create marketing plans that focus on credit card acquisition, usage, gift card sales and redemption strategies.  This successful leader will also be customer-centric, results-oriented, collaborative, and an innovative leader.  This function is newly created and will collaborate with key stakeholders while also building a team and key processes.
Key Responsibilities
Drive a holistic cardholder acquisition approach that leverages multiple marketing channels across the organization.
Drive card sales performance within UA Brand and Retail Houses.  Engage, educate, and motivate Sales Associates to support the loyalty card program and drive cardholder acquisition.  
Create associate training and incentive programs in support of sales goals.  
Partner with e-commerce team to ensure appropriate product placements and seamless integration into the online sales experience.
Develop and manage annual card acquisition plans and budgets including oversight of the card program P&Ls.
Develop and deliver program-level performance tracking and reporting. 
Provide oversight of card products - ensure core product features, benefits, and pricing remain attractive to customers. 
Cultivate relationships and engage cross-functional leaders to evaluate loyalty product enhancements and identify technology integration opportunities. 
Build and manage relationship with card issuing bank to maximize value and ensure timely delivery and execution of deliverables. 
Negotiate contracts with bank and other vendors/partners to drive effective account acquisition programs and additional value-add for loyalty program members.
Find innovative ways to educate loyalty card members on value proposition and benefits throughout their life-cycle. 
Leverage internal channels and bank channels to maximize value of cardholder touchpoints.  Champion and monitor Under Armour’s brand standards with bank partner.
Oversee and enhance communications and processes to effectively onboard, engage, retain, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. 
Deliver consumer insights to the organization to enhance sales initiatives both domestically and globally.
Provide leadership to develop and guide personnel and leverage cross-functional resources to drive continued success of the programs.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
15 plus years experience managing payment card products and marketing in a major banking or retail environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing, MBA preferred
Experience developing loyalty marketing products and campaigns
Proven track record of managing relationships with external partners or vendors
Excellent communication skills – ability to influence through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Strong financial, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing strategies
Strong team player with ability leverage input from across the organization
